Role Overview
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Automation and Integration Engineer to join our team responsible for automating and integrating cybersecurity solutions. This role combines full-stack development, automation, and system integration, with opportunities to work on both front-end and back-end solutions.
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver automation and integration solutions, with exposure to product integration, data management, and user interaction. Knowledge of cybersecurity domains such as data, network, and endpoint security is beneficial but not required — a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement continuous improvements across processes, tools, and products.
- Work with stakeholders, product owners, and project managers to scope and prioritize engineering solutions.
- Develop end-to-end automation solutions for web and application infrastructure, including on-premises and containerized environments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across DEV, UAT, Production, and Contingency environments.
- Support technical development of team members and promote best practices.
- Apply agile delivery methods and frameworks (e.g., Lean) using tools such as JIRA.
- Maintain alignment with cybersecurity strategy, vision, and product direction.
- Manage and report progress, risks, and dependencies while adhering to standard controls.
- Perform hands-on development tasks in Python, front-end technologies, and system integration.
Requirements
- Strong Python programming skills (scripting/web programming).
- Experience in cybersecurity, software development, or IT operations.
- Knowledge of Data, Network, and Endpoint security domains is a plus.
- Familiarity with software architecture, design, development, and delivery.
- Previous experience in roles such as Systems Engineer, Application Support, Developer, or DBA is advantageous.
- Full-stack development skills, including front-end/UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, Figma, Wireframing).
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
- Experience with APIs, including REST, SOAP, Swagger/OpenAPI 3.0.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is desirable.
- Comfortable working in Windows, Linux, or UNIX environments.
- Strong communication skills, able to adapt style to the audience.
