Finance Operations Specialist
We are looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to join our Private Capital team, supporting global investment funds (Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure).
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and control over financial transactions, asset data, and documentation, working closely with multiple teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Performing and monitoring ownership verification, recordkeeping, and cash monitoring of portfolio assets
- Monitoring cash movements, performing reconciliations, and booking transactions (purchases, sales, etc.)
- Analysing legal documentation (e.g. land registers, notary deeds, shareholder agreements) to ensure correct setup of assets and transactions
- Supporting quarterly reporting and bi-annual asset certifications
- Investigating discrepancies, including direct contact with clients
- Handling complex issues and following internal procedures and escalation paths to minimize operational risk
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
- Contributing to team-level projects and ensuring successful delivery
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a financial / operations environment
- Good understanding of financial processes or banking operations
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with platforms such as eFront is a plus
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and client-focused mindset
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and sense of responsibility
- Fluency in English (min. B2)
- Fluency in French (min. B2) will be an asset
